'DogFriendly.com's California and the West Dog Travel Guide' is named Finalist for Book of the Year by ForeWord Magazine
For the second time, a DogFriendly.com dog travel guide book has been named a ForeWord Magazine finalist. "DogFriendly.com's United States and Canada Dog Travel Guide" won first place in June, 2005.
POLLOCK PINES, Calif., March 10 / -- "DogFriendly.com's California and the West Dog Travel Guide Book" (ISBN 9780971874275) by Tara and Len Kain has been named a category finalist by ForeWord Magazine for its 2007 Book of the Year Award. ForeWord Magazine judges are librarians, booksellers and book reviewers. The announcement of the winning books will be made on May 29 during Book Expo America (BEA) in Los Angeles, the country's largest annual book and literature event. This is the second time that DogFriendly.com has been named a finalist. In 2005, "DogFriendly.com's United States and Canada Dog Travel Guide" was awarded first place in the pet category.
This 800-page book has over 6,000 dog-friendly places.
