Former Democratic National Committee Chairman and Hillary Clinton Campaign Chairman Terry McAuliffe Endorses John LaCombe for VA House of Delegates

Virginia Beach, VA, December 30, 2008 /Xpress Press News Service/ Terry McAuliffe, former DNC chairman and Hillary Clinton campaign chairman, says John LaCombe “represents the passion, energy, and commitment to real change that helped revolutionize the Democratic Party in 2008.”

In endorsing John LaCombe, Terry McAuliffe released the following statement:

John is a leader who understands that government needs to work for the people, and he will be an asset in shaking up Richmond and returning constituent focused government to the people. John worked hard to stand up for Virginians against predatory lending and will continue to stand with the people of Virginia and the 81st district, and fight for their interests as a delegate in the General Assembly.”

John LaCombe is the Democratic Party nominee for the 81^st district House of Delegates special election, which is scheduled for January 6^th, 2009. John is the youngest nominee for a state legislative race in Virginia Democratic Party history. If elected he will replace Thomas Jefferson as the youngest legislator in Virginia history. John's priorities include protecting education investments, building transportation infrastructure, creating jobs for the people of the 81^st district and all of Virginia, and fighting for justice and equality for all people.
