New York, NY -- March 25 -- The Casablanca Hotel in New York City's Times Square is offering rehab and relief for election weary citizens. From now until Election Day 2008, travelers who need a little time to "dry out" and reconnect with their loved ones can, upon request, have their guestroom televisions set to block all news channels and, if desired, all channels that offer daily news programming.

Guests can choose from a DVD library of movies filmed in New York, movies that were also Broadway shows, or the hotel's true inspiration, "Casablanca" the movie. Rick's Café hostesses will be advised to keep "rehab" guests away from the complimentary newspapers with blaring political headlines and give them gossip or fashion magazines instead.

HOW TO DETOX

Guests can "enter" Political Rehab by calling the hotel or by reserving rooms online at the Casablanca Hotel website and using REHAB as a promotional code. Guests booking by April 30th using the REHAB code for reservations arriving between Memorial Day and Labor Day 2008 will also receive a discount of $10 to $50 off their stay.

To help guests unwind, the package includes "Red, White and Blueberry Turndown Service" consisting of brie and salt water crackers, garnished with blueberries and honey, and served with red wine.
